WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act) Regional Plan 2020

The Workforce Partners of Metropolitan Chicago have drafted the 2020-2024 Regional Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Four-Year Plan for the Workforce Innovation Areas of the Northeast Economic Development Region (NEEDR) including Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kankakee, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, and Will Counties. This Regional Plan will be integrated into the State of Illinois Unified Four-Year WIOA Plan to address local and regional workforce needs. The Regional Plan is posted for public comment HERE.

Comments on the WIOA Regional Plan for NEEDR will be accepted by email to jjpoynter@mchenrycountyil.gov, subject: Regional Plan Comments, through Tuesday, March 24, 2020 till 4:30 pm.
