What is an Individual Training Provider?

An Individual Training Account (ITA) is a workforce-funded resource that helps eligible individuals pay for occupational training aligned with in-demand jobs. ITA funds may be used for tuition and training costs at approved training providers offering eligible programs.

Who Should Apply?

Organizations that provide occupational training aligned with workforce needs may apply, including:

  • Community colleges and universities
  • Proprietary or for-profit training schools
  • Community-based and nonprofit organizations
  • Apprenticeship and industry training providers

To qualify, organizations must have been operational for at least one year and provide training aligned with in-demand occupations that lead to credentials or employment.

How To Apply

  2. Complete all required forms included in the application materials.
  3. Ensure all applicable documents are signed.
  4. Gather required supporting materials.
  5. Fill out the Training Provider Application form.
