Workforce Activities Plan Modification

Attention Local educational agencies, community and faith based organizations, local chambers of commerce, local labor organizations, and all other interested parties.

The Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership (The Partnership) is facilitating a modification to the local plan for workforce activities in the City of Chicago and Suburban Cook County. As a part of the modification, the WIA Program Year 2013 (July 1, 2013 – June 30, 2015), PY’13 Title I funds in the amount of $42,598,016 and the Dislocated Workers grant in the amount of $13,363,016 will remain the same. The only modification being made is an adjustment to a line item in the Dislocated Workers budget (Other) shifting funds to accommodate Incumbent Workers activity ($18,000).

A copy of the budget and planned registrants will be available for public review and comment beginning September 18, 2014 through October 17, 2014 at The Partnership administrative office located at 69 West Washington-Suite 2860, Chicago, Ill 60602.
