What is an ITA?
An ITA is a tuition voucher that eligible residents can use to cover the cost of training to earn industry-recognized credentials, certifications, or degrees from training providers in The Partnership’s network. In Program Year 2022, The Partnership invested more than $16.4 million in more than 2,900 ITAs. Nearly 80% of the career seekers who received training through the ITA program successfully completed training and almost 75% of them became employed!
What about apprenticeships?
Apprenticeship programs are a great way to get a career started. The Partnership’s network has placed over 600 individuals into registered apprenticeships. For instance, community-based organizations have linked career seekers with contractors on small and large construction projects affiliated with 27 construction trade unions. Data shows that 94% of those who complete an apprenticeship retain their employment. In Program Year 2022, The Partnership enrolled 46 career seekers into Department of Labor certified registered apprenticeship programs.
