Paid Work Experiences

Paid Work Experience = Temporary work experience where participants will receive a stipend or payment for their service.  Work experience is a planned, structured learning experience that takes place in a workplace setting and provides participants with hands-on learning experience. Paid Work experiences are designed to promote:

• Exposure to careers and jobs;
• Development of pre-employment and work maturity skills; and
• Building occupational knowledge and technical skills.
