Request for Proposal – Community Hiring of Chicago COVID-19 Contact Tracing Corps – Funding Round 1
The Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership (The Partnership) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for 7–10 non-profit community-based organizations (CBOs) to serve as local employers of the City of Chicago COVID Contact Tracing Corps.
This is the first of two RFPs that will be released under the Chicago Contact Tracing Corps grant program.
NOTE: Eligible respondents for this current solicitation (Round 1 RFP) are:
- a) Organizations currently contracted by The Partnership to provide WIOA services and/or
- b) Organizations identified by the Chicago Department of Public Health through its RFP #7475 process as able to implement community hiring of Contact Tracers on the required timeline
The Round 2 RFP is currently open to all eligible CBOs citywide.
For purposes of this solicitation: a community-based organization is defined as a non-clinical/medical, not-for-profit organization that has demonstrated service delivery to specific populations and/or community areas. Service delivery includes programming driven by an understanding of, or directed by, community voice.
