JumpStart is a youth employment program based out of Maine Township High School District 207, federally funded through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). WIOA objectives include providing a strong, qualified workforce through assisting individuals in obtaining their high school diploma or secondary education certificate or degree and acquiring and maintaining skills necessary to enter the workforce. JumpStart serves in- and out-of-school youth throughout northern Cook County with emphasis on the Des Plaines, Rosemont, Park Ridge, Niles and Morton Grove neighborhoods.
