About the Center
The Partnership’s Healthcare Sector Center promotes the workforce system’s business services by delivering recruitment and retention services. It meets employer needs by offering recruiting, pre-screening, and employee training services. The Partnership is one of few public workforce systems in the nation to leverage a business-driven workforce model to serve healthcare employers. Based on economic analysis, Labor Market Indicators data, and industry supply/demand trends, The Partnership funds accredited healthcare training programs directed towards obtaining industry-recognized credentials in allied health occupations. Additionally, The Partnership directly engages healthcare employers in career pathway projects and provides funding to support work-based learning programs for new and incumbent workers.
The Partnership’s Healthcare Sector Center offers work-readiness and employment placement services for job seekers interested in working in the healthcare industry. Job seekers can receive training at no cost from The Partnership’s approved network of providers and obtain certification to become a medical assistant, nursing assistant, home health care, community health worker, and more.
